Customer Care Representative

Department: Construction

Position Title: Customer Care Representative

Division/Office: Phoenix

Position Reports to (Title): Director of Construction

Direct Reports to Position: N/A

FLSA Status: Exempt

 Position Overview:
  • Manage customer service program in a manner which is consistent with construction practices and budgetary constraints resulting in satisfied Ashton Woods Homes customers
  • Analyze trends in service work in order to identify root causes of errors
  • Develop and implement programs which correct root causes of errors

Major Functional Responsibilities:

  • Function as Ashton Woods Homes’ primary representative at assigned sites
  • Communications – oral and written
  • Customer Satisfaction / Service
  • Cost Control
  • Decision Making
  • Conflict Resolution
  • Subcontractor Management
  • Construction Standards and Methods

Key Duties:

  • Receive customer service requests, evaluate them and respond appropriately with either repair work or sound explanation to customer regarding why repair work is outside the scope of Ashton Woods Homes’ warranty program
  • Develop and implement a service work scheduling process which results in timely completion of work
  • Maintain an effective working relationship with subcontractors
  • Develop and implement a process which allows service trends to be analyzed, root causes identified, and appropriate corrections made
  • Cross train with Construction staff as appropriate
  • Interface with customers in a way which results in highly satisfied customers
  • Other duties as assigned

Desired Candidate Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with emphasis in Construction Management preferred or equivalent years of direct, on-site construction or warranty service experience with production builder
  • Minimum of one-year direct experience in production building or warranty service
  • Computer literacy
