Jr. Technical Analyst or IT Support Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Technical Analyst/Support Specialist to join our team. As an IT Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our technology infrastructure, providing technical assistance to employees, and ensuring smooth IT operations.

Responsibilities:

Technical Support:

  • Provide timely and effective technical support to employees regarding printers, laptops, workstations, and other hardware.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues promptly.
  • Assist with new computer configurations for new hires.

Network Management:

  • Manage small office network equipment, including routers, switches, and access points.
  • Experience with Ubiquiti products is a plus.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Collaborate with other IT team members to ensure efficient and effective IT operations.
  • Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues.

Technology Trends and Documentation:

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and developments.
  • Document and maintain records of IT support requests and resolutions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience as an IT support specialist.
  • Exceptional ability to provide technical support and resolve queries.
  • In-depth knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networks.
  • Ability to determine IT needs and train end-users.
  • Proficiency in IT helpdesk software, such as Freshservice and SysAid.
  • Experience in documenting processes and monitoring performance metrics.
  • Advanced knowledge of database maintenance and system security.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
